Filippo has a Master and Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Polytechnic University of Milan. He is currently a physics PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Cesare Soci. His work focuses on the development of superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors integrated with novel waveguide platforms.
